Skin Booster Treatments in Edgecliff, Sydney
Jessica's Take:
Skin boosters are what I recommend when someone's skin is lacking hydration and glow. Using the right skincare is always my number one, and once you're in a good place I like to lean to what I call an "injectable moisturiser". They will not change your face. They change your skin. Hydration, texture, that lit-from-within quality that makes people ask if you have been on holiday. If your skin feels flat and dull, this is where we would start the conversation. - Jessica
What are skin boosters?
Injectable skin boosters deliver hydrating ingredients directly into the skin through a series of tiny, superficial injections. They are designed to improve the skin itself rather than your facial shape. No added volume, no structural change. Just deeply hydrated, smoother, healthier functioning skin.

Because the hydration is placed within the skin, boosters can reach where even the best skincare cannot. The result builds gradually: better texture, better luminosity, skin that simply behaves better.

At our Edgecliff clinic, skin boosters can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

Think of it less as a treatment and more as a long term investment in your skin's health.
What skin concerns do boosters target?
Dehydrated or crepey skin
Boosters restore hydration deep within the skin, softening the crepey, fragile look that shows up first on the cheeks, neck and around the eyes.

Dull and tired skin
By improving hydration and supporting the skin's natural function, boosters help restore a fresher, more luminous complexion. Less tired, more you.

Fine lines and early texture change
Well hydrated skin holds light differently. Boosters can soften fine lines and refine texture for skin that looks smoother and healthier up close.

How are skin boosters different from volumisation treatments?
This is the question we get asked most, so let's clear it up.
There are many types of skin booster, and some sit closer to filler than others. That is because filler itself is a spectrum, ranging from firm, structural products that shape and support the face through to soft, honey textured fluids for hydration and smoothing fine lines. Skin boosters live at that softer end: placed superficially and spread through the skin to improve quality rather than shape.

If your concern is how your skin looks and feels, rather than volume loss, a booster is usually where the conversation starts. And if you are weighing boosters against Profhilo or Rejuran, that is exactly what the consultation is for. Each works differently, and the right choice depends entirely on your skin.
The treatment plan
1
Consultation & Skin Assessment
Every treatment starts with a proper look at your skin: hydration, texture, sensitivity and what you actually want to achieve. If a skin booster is not the right tool for your concern, Jessica will tell you honestly and point you toward what is.
2
Course of treatments
Skin boosters work best as a series rather than a one-off. A course of 3 to 4 sessions spaced several weeks apart is usually recommended to build hydration and improve texture.
3
Maintenance
Once your course is complete, maintenance treatments every 4 to 9 months keep your skin functioning at its best. Jessica will guide you on timing so results stay natural and consistent.
Frequently asked questions
1 / Do you offer skin boosters in Edgecliff?
Yes. Injectable skin boosters are offered at Jessica Aesthetic Clinic in Edgecliff, Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, following a complimentary consultation to assess suitability.
2 / Is there downtime?
Boosters can cause small raised areas at the injection points, mild swelling or redness immediately after treatment. These usually settle within a day or two but can last up until one week.
3 / Will I bruise?
Bruising is possible with any injectable treatment. Most bruises are small and resolve within a few days. Jessica uses careful technique to minimise this wherever possible.
4 / Does it hurt?
Boosters involve multiple small, superficial injections. Most clients find them very manageable, and numbing cream can be applied beforehand where needed.
5 / When will I see results?
Some people notice an early improvement in glow and smoothness, but the real changes in hydration, texture and radiance build gradually over several weeks and improve with each treatment in your course.
6 / How long do results last?
Results are cumulative. Each session supports hydration and skin quality, and with a full course many people find their skin looks healthier for several months. Maintenance treatments keep it that way.
7 / Will I look unnatural or 'done'?
No. Skin boosters improve skin quality without adding volume or changing your facial shape. You will look like yourself, just healthier and more hydrated.
8 / Where can boosters be used?
The face, neck, décolletage and hands are the most common areas. Treatment areas are agreed during your consultation based on your skin and goals.
9 / When can I return to normal activities?
Most people return to normal life straight away. We recommend avoiding intense exercise, alcohol, swimming, heat exposure and active skincare for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
10 / Can skin boosters be combined with other treatments?
Yes, and they often are. Boosters pair well with anti-wrinkle treatments, Rejuran, Profhilo and microneedling as part of a broader skin plan. Jessica will only ever recommend what your skin genuinely needs.
Jessica's approach to skin quality
Skincare can do a lot. But it has its limits.

Skin boosters work where most skincare cannot reach, supporting hydration and repair from within the skin itself. Not a quick fix. A genuine investment in how your skin looks and functions.
