Jessica's Take:
Volume is the most misunderstood area of facial aesthetics. People come in worried they will look overdone, puffy or obviously treated. And honestly, that fear is valid. Bad volumisation is very obvious. Good volumisation is completely invisible.
My approach starts with the face in front of me. Where has volume been lost? What is the underlying structure? What will genuinely improve the balance and what will not? Sometimes that means a small amount in one area. Sometimes it means nothing at all. The goal is always to restore what was there, not to create something new. - Jessica
What Are Facial Contouring and Volume Enhancement Treatments?
Facial contouring and volume enhancement treatments are used to restore structural support and facial balance where natural volume changes have occurred, through ageing, weight fluctuations or individual anatomy.

Over time the face loses volume in specific areas. The cheeks flatten. The under-eye area hollows. The jawline loses definition. These changes are completely natural and there are now gentle, precise ways to address them that look entirely natural.

All treatments involving prescription medicines are assessed and administered following a personalised medical consultation at our Edgecliff clinic.

Frequently asked questions
1 / Will I look overdone or puffy after volumisation in Sydney?
Not at JAC. We start conservatively and build gradually. The goal is always balance and restoration, never obvious volume. Less is almost always more in this area.
2 / Can filler migrate or move?
Migration can occur when product is placed incorrectly or the wrong type is used for the area. At Jessica Aesthetic Clinic in Edgecliff, treatment is always anatomy-led with careful product selection and precise technique to minimise this risk.
3 / Is there downtime?
Some swelling and bruising is possible, particularly in delicate areas. Most clients return to normal activities within a day or two. Aftercare is always discussed before you proceed.
4 / How long do results last?
This varies by area and individual. Your realistic timeline is always discussed during your complimentary consultation at our Edgecliff clinic before any treatment proceeds.
5 / How do I know the injector is qualified?
Jessica is a Registered Nurse registered with AHPRA, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Her registration can be verified at any time at ahpra.gov.au. AHPRA registration number: NMW0002009083. All treatments involving prescription medicines are administered following clinical assessment in line with Australian regulatory requirements.
6 / Can I come in without knowing what I need?
Absolutely. Most clients arrive unsure. Your complimentary consultation at our Edgecliff clinic is just an honest conversation about your face and what will genuinely serve it. No obligation to proceed.
Jessica's approach
Volume restoration is one of the most anatomy-dependent treatments in aesthetics. The difference between a beautiful result and an obvious one often comes down to millimetres. That is why Jessica begins every volumisation treatment with a detailed facial assessment, mapping exactly where volume has been lost, what the underlying structure looks like and what placement will create the most natural, balanced result for your specific face.

The approach at JAC is always to restore what was naturally there. Not to add. Not to change. To give your face back what time or circumstance has taken from it.
Less is almost always more. Results are built gradually and conservatively at our Edgecliff clinic, because it is always easier to add than to take away.

Not sure if volumisation is right for you? That is exactly what the consultation is for.
